Is Andre 3000 the Prince of our
generation? That dude is sick. Good sick, if you know what
I mean.
When I joined PC Mag last month I was in the middle of production,
meaning most of the tasks had already been delegated. So I only really
got to feel the actual workload this month. And boy, it's one heck
of a load. I reviewed three digital cameras, one smartphone, one software
suite and six notebooks. Not forgetting the press conferences and
product launches that I have to attend. Next month we're doing PDAs
and I'll be writing a feature article on web design and development.
Add to that two major Malaysian holidays this month and next –
Ramadan and Chinese New Year respectively – and you've got extra-strenuous
deadlines and more late nights. Beats unemployment in London? Hmm
...
Haven't bought anything new in a while, but thanks to Michelle
I've been listening to a couple of online mixes from d-i-r-t-y.com.
The Manitoba one's cool, so is Andrew Coleman's
and Air's. Bought two CDs from Djangos – the
new Non-Prophets and Atmosphere's
Seven Travels, the latter of which I wish I didn't buy, cos
it's boring. I placed an order for Death Cab For Cutie's
Transatlanticism as well but Djangos replied and said they
ran out of stock, bummer.
The weekend is nigh ... actually no, it's already here. I just wanted
to use the word 'nigh'. As Andre 3000 would say, "All right,
all right, all right, all right, all right, all right ..."

Do you wanna hear about the Oracle Grid Computing treasure hunt I
went for today?
It sucked. Because my team didn't win.
That is all.
A lot of other things suck at the moment too but this is not the best
place to rant about it, considering that some of the people who contribute
to the sucking may possibly stumble upon this blog (not you
though).
Some people suck but they don't know it. Everyone else does.
Some people suck but only I know it. Everyone else loves them.
Which sucks worse?
Please keep reading my blog, I'll try and write about this great girl
I met or something.
